My first prints for lithography this year. I drew it over a month ago and couldn’t print it until now, my hands are a mess but it was worth it.
My teacher was talking to the technician who was helping me with the printing press and he said to him that the image was so powerful that every time he looked it he alternated between getting a warm, strong feeling and a sense of overbearing discomfort. They both looked at me sort of waiting for an explanation but I didn’t give really have one for them, I just said “I thought officially coming out via printmaking would be perf, dudes”.PS. The crown of light is not meant to be a religious expression, I was just listening to Beyonce’s “Halo” a lot and you all know how much I’m into energy rays.
